Thumbs up rear suspension noise

hey all.
i have the odd rear suspension noise. it began after i installed my coilovers (ARK ST-P). the helper springs are threaded all the way up so i dont think its the spring slapping around, yet it does sound like that.
the noise is REALLY inconsistent, sometimes over bumps and sometimes not. sometimes i hear it just when i jump into the seat.

the noise is also considerably louder/frequent on the passenger side.

maybe i have the spring/collar/helper spring setup wrong?

thanks guys.

-Nick.

ps. i could snap some pics if it will help any..

I'm having a weird noise from the pass. rear after eibach spring instal and 18" wheels. It almost sounds like somethings loose, but mechanic says nothings loose. Haven't figured it out yet, but will let you know if I do.

Are the springs compressed? Easy to spin?

the helper spring is fully compressed up against the upper spring. i can not spin any of the springs by hand.

also the dampening is set to full stiff

Try reading this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=263345&st=0

Make sure the nut on the shock shaft is tight or not too tight. Could be a bad pillow ball bushing or bad shock. If all else fails contact ARK.....actually I'd contact ARK first then troubleshoot.

Hows the handling otherwise?

Did it happen only after the coilover install or was it before too?
