same old brake problem!
The only way you could get extra brake dust and it be the wheel bearing is for it to be extremely loose. So to rule it out squat down and grab the top of the wheel and give it a good pull and push. If its loose you'll know it. Otherwise, keep looking at the brakes.
Using the term "stealership" to define one of your fine locations was
just my lazy/pathetic attempt at humor!
I finally took my S to my local Honda location today to get their
professional diagnosis of my brake problem..their determination?
I need new passenger-side calipers and brake pads....
and let me please say...."f'ing stealership"!!
their total for just passenger side?...$975. plus tax!!
that one guy who gave me the $1K estimate for entire car..calipers/rotors
and pads looks awful good right now.
How mechanical are you?
Have you jacked up the car and tried turning the wheel by hand when it is cold?
After take the car out into a parking lot and do circles with the car. Is the brake issue worse circling one way over the other?
Can you bleed your own brakes?
Changing out a remanufactured caliper is actually not hard.
The replacement caliper assembly is about $100 (plus $60 core charge).

Rest of parts:
45022-S2A-E50 set,pad fr
45251-S2A-000 disk, fr. brake (16")
about $300 total parts (Honda retail pricing), so they want $700 labor for less than 2 hours work, yes that definately falls into the catagory of stealership.
