'Cracking' sound when driven after it rains
Lately, I've noticed a loud cracking sound (seems like it's coming from the front passenger tires/wheel area) when I initially drive the car after it's been parked after it rains. I have to give it a little extra gas when it occurs because it seems like something is stuck. I think I may need to replace the rotors. Thoughts?
so in a situation like that, where the pads are rusted to the rotors (how does that happen?), my best bet is to get both parts replaced on all four sides correct? in this situation, what is s2ki's recommendations for brake pads and rotors?
So in a situation where the caliper is sticking or seizing (even though car's at rest?), what causes this to occur? do I just go ahead and replace the caliper then?

The reason for pads rusting on rotor is due to sieze or struck caliper expose to water or rain. The sieze or struck caliper is due to old fluids in the caliper tat r not bleed out when changing to new fluids.. Overtime it builds up contamination and tacky black stuff.
