Default S&S Accident

I was driving the other day and got in a little accident. Nothing major.
I am fine. My control arm on the other hand is not.. I ran into a curb with my front right tire.

I also need a new strut, rim, and tire. Brake lines look okay.

Any who, what is a good control arm pair for the bang for my buck? I don't mind dealing with stock, but for a little extra I may consider an upgrade. Also, where is the best internet source for finding a part like this? I need some opinionated answer

Strut pair will be another post but any opinions are appreciated.

There isn't really any "upgrade" for your front control arms. Word is, Honda designed the control arms with a weaker design than the sub-frame intentionally in case someone goes off and hits a berm or curb, the control arm getting chewed up prevents the energy of the impact from affecting the sub-frame or actual frame.

I know in SoCal, I got a guy in San Diego that buys S2k's from auctions and parts them. I know he ships, but don't know if it would be economical to you.

I do know that a few weeks ago, he had a couple of pairs of front suspension sets to sell. Set being the spindle/knuckle, lower and upper control arms. I think he wanted something like $300 for each set.

Glad you're alright. Your car will be fine, but please take your time and get her back together right.

For racing applications there are aftermarket arms you can buy, but imo not at all what you want for street.

Like mentioned above, stronger arms means car breaks instead of arm bends in an accident. On the track there aren't square shaped curbs for wheels to bang into. Much less chance of impact that would cause damage to car.

The reason you want 'better' control arms is when stock units flex under load. Maybe that can happen with race tires at track speeds, but on our cars at least its not an issue even on good street tires and spirited driving.

Get stock ones that can still sacrifice themselves to protect your car in case of accident with rim meets curb.
