Steering feels loose
What's up guys, so i've had my S for a few months now and when I first got it the steering was super tight and direct, it was very responsive and consistent. Now after driving a couple thousand miles on the streets, the steering feels pretty loose and numb. The roads here are literally the worst, most of the roads are bumpy and ruined and have many potholes. It's very hard to find clean roads so I send it when I do .
Anyways I'm planning on getting new tires within the next few weeks and getting a UK alignment. Do you think I might need a suspension refresh or new bushings?

There's no real way to tell what you need.
Its strange that things deteriorated that quickly in 1 month.
Where are you from that the roads are this bad, my friend?

Numb can mean a lot of things. But based on the quick deterioration, my first thought is rear tire pressure. Even a side to side difference of a couple psi can really make this car feel wonky. As example it'll subtly steer itself one direction then the other with the application of and sudden lifting of throttle.
Carefully check psi in each rear tire. Make sure they're equal.

Three "hidden" things that affect your perception of steering feel:
1) Vehicle speed. In all cars, higher speed = higher load on the steering = heavier feel. Additionally, the electric power assist in this car is programmed to be stronger at low speed, with an on-center "dead spot" when stopped. So, make sure you're actually in motion when you decide to evaluate the steering feel.
2) Tires and tire pressure. Wider/grippier front tires, worn/low-tread tires, or a even a drop in pressure can all create greater resistance/load = heavier feel.
3) Personal preference. Some people like a very heavy feel with immediate response, like a go-kart; they "steer with their arms" and get their feedback through their whole upper body. Others prefer a much lighter feel and/or a slower (numerically higher) steering ratio; they "steer with their fingers" and get their feedback through their hands. Each person would claim that the other's car has "numb steering feel". Which kind of driver are you?

Pot holes knock psi out..

I'm the wide tire guy who loves a good heavy feel. To me the car feels more planted and the sensation between grip and no grip is more apparent this way which only helps. Its a little more of a workout, but I don't participate in any endurance racing so.
