Default Stoptech slotted rotors, OEM AP1 pads

Before I pull the trigger I want to ask you guys opinon on this set-up. Are stoptech slotted rotors and OEM AP1 pads a good set-up? I only do spirited driving and mostly street driving. The AP2 pads dust like crazy that's why I am opting for AP1 pads. What do you guys think on this set-up? How are the stoptech slotted rotors compared to OEM? Thanks!

Plain rotors (I use Centrics) will be a cheaper and give the same performance. I don't think you'll see any performance benefit with slotted rotors, but you will likely see accelerated pad wear.

I really like my HP+ pads. Dust is a little excessive, but they stop damn good.

I have Centric Premiums (not C-tek economy) on my Odyssey and Accord, No warpage like the factory Honda rotors. Also, my friend is an exec at Stoptech/Centric/Power Slot so I need to mention that - full disclosure. That said, I won't put crap on any of my cars and I have been more than satisfied with these + Posi Quiet pads. With only 1,200 miles on the S2K, I can't speak for this application, though.

I've had bad experience with Hawk pads and also there are too many good and bad reviews. I also had centric rotors/posi pads, it was good for daily but it didn't grab hard enough at high speed braking(it just like...not enough for my taste but it great for what I paid).

I agree about skip the stoptech if going to use oem pads. I would get a centric rotors instead stoptech for daily.
