Angry Suspention Issues ?

hello everyone,
I bought my car today and after a long drive I noticed that its making a squeeky sound. its coming from the shocks I believe cuz every time I hit the bump you can hear it. I feel like my springs need some OIL LOL.

any suggestions as far as what could be causing it or how I can fix this issue ? thanks.

I thought the same was happening in my car (just bought it). Turns out it was the hood latch squeaking, I used some white lithium grease and the sound is gone.

check out this thread if you need more ideas

I just checked it and since I didnt have white lithium grease.. Instead I put some DW40 just to see if its gonna stop the squeezing noice, its very annoying and I honestly thought that my springs are running out of oil looool

you have a 2002, if you have a lot of miles on it, your shocks could be blown. Jack up the car and see if you see oil leaking down the shock body.

You definitely need to refill the oil in your springs.

It might not be the hood latch, I just know its a common thing. I felt the same way when I bought my car, I was sure it was the suspension. You can get white lithium grease at ACE hardware for 5 bucks, its definitely worth it. If it doesn't go away definitely check out your suspension.

I'm not convinced that the noise is the shock. There are so many more suspension parts that are nearby that need to be checked first.
