Part 7 has the same number, and that is the top hat.

Would I be able to purchase JUST a shock and spring of any other year, and swap it on to the stuff I already from my current setup (OEM)?

I'm a suspension noob

Different years have diff spring rates, essentially the answer to your question is yes though. I'm not sure if AP1 shocks are the same as AP2 though...in for answer

Yes, everything is forward and backward compatible.

I have my 04' shocks/springs lying around and I want to get rid of them. Let me know if you are interested.
