Default track oriented Ride Hight

What is the preferred ride hight for after maket coilovers?

I have Tien Flex coils and it is a AP2. I also have CF front fenders and am not sure if they are even right to left, is there another spot I can use for measuring?

Also when my ride hight is close to even (according to fender hights) my hight adjustments are about an inch different. In other words one spring is more compressed then the other to get even hight right to left. Is this going to affect my handling?

Thanks.

With the tiens you should be able to adjust the coilovers from the bottom with out effecting the springs preload.

There really is not "perfect" ride height. Just what ever gives you the most suspension travel and what your happy with.

You can also measure the height from the jacking points under the car to the ground.

Cool thanks man... do I want it even front to back or do I want one higher then the other?

Also if my adjustments are over an inch different right to left... that wont affect preload???? Just seems like it would make some difference

that's really a preference/tuning thing. easiest is just set everything even and go from there.

preload only has to do with how much your compressing the spring. being an inch off just unbalances the car.

came accros these a while ago in the racing section:

ended up lowering it back down up front so I am about a 1.5 finger gap all the way around... went to the track lastnight and it felt much more planted. I also made the even out my adjustments right to left so they were closer to even... I might just go get corner balanced.
