Default Uneven tire wear

I bought my S from a used car dealer, i knew it had a drop but just springs not full coilovers, now im having the inside tire wear a lot more then the rest. Could an alignment fix it, i was told i need a camber kit since the car isnt stock hight.

too much camber and maybe toe. you shouldnt need a camber kit though. go get an alignment and have them dial back camber to like -1ish, 0 toe front and a little toe in in the rear. if you dont drive aggressively and want even tire wear that should help you out

it's probably a combo of camber and toe. a little extra camber on it's own won't cause dramatically uneven wear. the camber needs to be more extreme which would be obvious by just looking a the wheels. but toe out of spec along with extra camber will eat your tires. unless you have some crazy camber going on an alignment should help.

I agree with those that say you should NOT need a camber kit.

As meantioned camber alone does not cause excessive tire wear.
Most likely the car was never aligned after being dropped.

Go in get it aligned to factory specs if they can.
Also you '06 AP2 neither needs nor should have the UK alignment.

x2 you will be able to get back to oem specs with a 1" drop. thats the nice thing about the S. However, it sounds exactly like when I bought my car. The previous owner just installed the springs with no alignment causing the inside of the front tires to cup.

^ yup, any time you change the ride height or suspension setup an alignment is in order.
