okay cool, thanks guys. im going to get the ate super blue. i dont do any tracking or anything so i think my stock lines will be fine, im just pretty sure my fluid need a good flush
Well, if you are gonna do a full flush, I would recomend replacing the brake lines and Clutch line to SS because it's just old and worn out. And, Flush both. Two birds with one stone. I ended up getting my SS lines(brakes and clutch) through Kings.

Also, I would recomend looking at the Clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder pedal assemblys. Among the Ap1 generation, there was a faulty design in the clutch pedal assembly where it leaks into the cabin/carpet, which happened to me. It literally drained it empty.

thanks, i replaced my master cyl. and slave at 65k. my master was leaking. i looked a few days ago and no leakage.

To use your own analogy, if buying slightly used lines is like buying slightly used underwear, why aren't you even considering changing your underwear?

You have 11 year old lines. Consider changing them, even if you're not tracking your car. Others have died for not doing so. Yes, you read that correctly.

Even if it's oem lines, changing is better than not.

I got Challenge stainless lines and have to say the quality is really good. I also switched up to the Super Blue fluid, SOS rotors, and HP+ pads...stopping power is excellent for the street although there is more brake dust. However, since I painted my wheels flat gunmetal, it is hardly noticeable. One other note, it is hard to modulate them on the street without either a) stopping very quickly or b) getting squealing from the pad barely resting on the rotor.
