Will Hawk HPS Pads fit Spoon Calipers?
I know oem pads will fit spoon calipers by modifying them a little with the back bracket. I believe hawk hps pads are exactly like oem so I believe I should be able to modify them as well to fit the spoon calipers.
Just double checking before I order from tirerack.
Thanks for the help.

Don't get HPS pads, stockers are much better on the street and INFINITELY better on the track (where HPS are beyond useless)!
HPS are the worst pads I've experienced...

HPS have a little LESS bite than OEM, and also feel softer/spongier. And put a little heat of them and any semblence of braking goes away!
Again, WORSE than stock on the street, and totally unusable/dangerous at the track.
Stay away, stay FAR away...

ive had good experiences with hawk hps + aside from a lot of dusting.
Two *very* different pads! I used HPS once, NEVER again! Again they were by far the worst pads I've ever experienced at the track (OEM are stellar track pads in comparison) and on the street they feel softer/spongier and with less bite than stock.
HP+, on the other hand, have tremendous bite and coefficient of friction, better than most dedicated track pads. But they dust a lot and make a lot of noise until beaten into submission at the track for a day or two.
HP+ are actually my track pad of choice for the S and my 5-sec/lap faster 240Z.

HP+ . i have been using them with just napa blanks and they work great except for the dusting issue. i need to brakes again soon and i think ill do the HP+ again with some generic slotted rotters and some motul RDF

Okay I have to interject here, my gauge is off. I'm not an avid S2k owner, but from my experience, EVERY OEM Honda pad has been complete garbage compared to any upgraded aftermarket pad (like not a Napa or OE 'equivelent' pad), but stuff like AEM, Axxis, Hawk, and of course brands like Pagid and Carbotech. Are S2k pads totally different? Cause I've run used S2k brakes on my Civic before and they didn't stop well, so I chocked it up to the Honda Nissin pads. Are the OE pads better if you get em really hot on a track? Maybe I'm missing something. Cause even NSX OEM pads didn't wow me, and Hawk HPS pads seemed to do a hell of a lot better in a Civic with Integra brakes over my friends bone stock S2k. I must be missing something. Any thoughts?
