i have the t1r 70em ti from evasive. had it on the car for 22k, so i had a good amount of experience. the drone at 4k in 6th was FUGGIN brutal. under/over 4k, it was fine. but on the CR it was ridiculous pressure int he cabin. i just put that same exhaust on my 07, and the drone is still there, but not nearly as bad.

it must be the resonance from having the hardtop.

same here. tir 70em dual. bad drone from 3-4, but with the top off it sounds great. if top is on i usually just stay in a higher rev range, but hey its a honda they like the higher rev range

I have the Mugen cat-back and header. No drone that I'm aware of (well, at VTEC it does get a bit loud).

I have the invidia N1. Drones from 3-4. Sounds great with the top off. Everyone said it was too loud but I don't think it is. Light gas keeps it under control, just have to learn to use the throttle. I have come to the conclusion that it is the drone that kills people not the exhaust note. I enjoy the exhaust.

I'm running the HKS and even with the Berk 63mm HFC, there is still a slight drone....the HFC helps a little but it won't take it completely away... the only exhaust setup I've seen/heard with little to no drone is the Mugen.. and with the HFC, it's all but nonexistant... I just couldn't justify the pricetag when I picked up the HKS (new was $750 shipped.. versus $1800 shipped for the Mugen) though..

I'm running the Berk 70mm hfc with the greddy se dual and no complaints here. I did however hate the skunk2 exhaust. I was literally wearing ear plugs every time I drove anywhere.

My original set up consists of a Mugen intake, Greddy SE dual, and a Toda V2 header. Just added a 70mm Skunk 2 test pipe tonight; definitely less droning/slightly quieter and noticeably more responsive revs.

I am waiting for my exhaust in transit.

fipk intake with aut cooling plate, invidia 70mm test pipe and dual greddy se exhaust. Should be quiet from everyone else I have talked to. I am getting too old for loud exhuasts anymore.
