Hi - I am also looking for a good cleander to keep the alcantara and yellow cloth clean. It seems the yellow cloth may be the area most people have trouble maintaining. Is this the right link (the above link is now broken). Is the product named Leather Master Foam Cleaner for Suede and Alcantara? Is there something specifically made for the cloth section? Thanks!

Thank you. I was also able to pull more information:

The lambo Reventon also uses alcantara.

Any tips for cleaning the cloth part of the seat? I have a bad habit of sitting on brake dust covered wheels when changing pads then immediately sitting in the car. Didn't matter with my Ap1.

If you're talking about the yellow portion, I completely agree I have a stain in the passenger side that I've no idea how to get out. It has grown to be a badge of "honor" though lol
you slut you

As I looked at Mocky's photos...I've come to the conclusion that the yellow portion of my seats isn't as bright as it used to be....

Could be the dark cloudy, rainy weather here in the Pacific NW, or it could be that they need some restoration.

Any ideas on if I take the cover off the seats, would it be washable in a regular washer?

Or perhaps should I try the leather master foam, scrub the seats, let them dry and see if that would restore what I'm looking for?

Opinions welcomed!

Ira ,

The product linked above works very well, but if you want a better recommendation pm Phil at DetailersDomain. He would be the best resource for additional products.

My thoughts as well... He's pretty good at these types of questions.. if anything, PM him a link to this thread... He might be crushed because of ths holidays but hopefully he can throw his $.02 in.. I'm sure lots of us here would be curious as well on proper seat maintenance....
