Default CR spring with aftermarket shocks?

Has anyone tried CR spring with aftermarket shocks? Specifically height and dampen adjustable shocks?

Koni sports work well but if you want to dial in a particular height you will need to change the springs. The Koni shocks have two perch heights so is you don't mind lowering about an inch you may be ok.
