Default Dash Cam Placement

Hey, so the reason why I wanted to post this here is because we all have hard tops and I'm hoping some of you can help me.

I'm considering getting 2 dash cams for my car- one front one rear- but I can't figure out where the best placement would be for the rear due to the hard top. Never mind the mounting hardware, do you have any recommendations on where to place a rear camera?

Are you talking about real dash cams, or regular GoPro's?
If it's gopro, I had good results with the suction mounts in the center and both front and back of the top of the hard top. Just make sure there is no dust on the hardtop or the suction cups before placing.

No, I'm not going with a GoPro. *shrugs*

Attached to the Windscreen? Where did you mount the front cam?

I haven't received them yet but I think I'm gonna try to mount the rear around the windscreen area.

If it's small enough an Ideal place would be somewhere underneath the rear wing. One could even tether it to the upright wing support.

^not sure if her cameras would be for autox/trackdays though?!?! If it's for security/driving only it wouldn't be a good idea to mount them outside the car.
