Default Hardtop Locks

Looking to secure my Hardtop. Right now the HeelToe Top Latch Buttons look okay.

Anyone have experience with these? How easy / hard to install?

Is there a better price then $179?

Thanks for any and all information.

Eh well I payed $200 for mine only to have him drop to that current price a week later, so your probably not getting it for less. Having to modify the key should be the only thing you'll encounter.

Had them with the mod for the key. Still hard to unlock because the lack of space. Nice workmanship but Too much of a hassle for the top to be removed.

Is the key issue bad enough to make you regret buying them?

The black piece is the "handle" that you have to glue to the remaining portion of the key cylender that you cut off the original to fit your OEM top. This was the 1st key I modded. Not perfect as you can see, but it hasnt caused me any problems yet

from the consensus it seems that the alloycraft was a more durable user friendly hardtop lock.
