S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Default have you changed the size of your front wheels

With my 02 S2000, the car felt more balanced, and over the years it became near perfect.I became an instructor for HSDE and got a lot of track time. For me, I had the alignment just right. On really tight turns, I could make the rear step out when needed or not.

With my CR, I haven't been to the track as much (another story about get the shit scared out of you), but the car seams to understeer a lot, compared to my old S2000. I have gone to 225/40/17 tires in the front, but it still seems to be there, not as bad as the 215'.

So for you guys that run in Auto-X or at DE's, what size tires do you have or how have you changed the alignment?
I know some guys have gone to 255 all the way around, just not sure I want to buy a couple more wheels.

Thanks
Coop

Remember that your 02 had a much smaller stagger, and a stiffer rear bar.

It might be worthwhile to try borrowing a set of non-staggered wheels/tires to see how they feel.

I run 255/40/17 all around.

Next alignment will be -3.3 camber all around, 0 toe front, 3/16" total toe-in rear.
