Both of these cars are what the vehicle should look like IMHO. Kudos to BMW for making all of their performance cars look proper from the factory....

Sorry, more questions. What about the non Spec R Swifts? Just the regular sports springs to lower the car? Would it be a better match to the struts.

I think if you went that route, you'd might as well just get a set of regular AP2 suspension and swap the springs.

The regular swifts are somewhere around 260f 250-320r(progressive in rear). Basically, they're OEM stiffness with a slight .5" - 1" drop. They're among the top choices if you aren't looking for any additional spring rate and want to fix the "oem rake" adding a small drop. Advertised drop is .7 in front and .1 in rear

It would better match stock shocks better, but you're probably best off going Koni + whatever spring meets your most common need. or coils altogether.

With these springs, does it mean we have to watch those curbs more carefully when parking head in? At stock height, there are times when the bottom front lip would clear the concrete by just a hair, really.

Thank you for the replies. Good info. The issue for me is the ride height..not the performance of the stock suspension. My guess is Honda got it perfect in regard to someone who wants a fast weekend drive and does 2 track days a year (me). Something to think about. I wouldn't be willing to go coilovers this soon.

Last I checked it was approximately -1 inch in the front and -.5 in the rear on stock CR struts mated to the Swift Spec R springs. Sorry everyone, just real busy with personal stuff so I haven't been able to take proper pics and measurements

That depends on what kind of driving you do, and how hard you do it. But overall, it sounds like the Sport Swifts would be a good choice for you.

Nice! Is that even drop on the front? I'm running into problem with driver side a little lower than passenger..1/4" I've been told not to worry as that's how it is, even in stock ride.
