Default 12v Power Outlet Wiring Dilemma

I'm having a little trouble connecting the wires to a 12v power outlet. I looked through the service manual but on page 22-95, all it says to do is to connect a 2P connector. The wires coming out my holes do not resemble the 2P connector. I’m guessing the previous owner took it off for some odd reason.
Now there’s three wires, one wire splits into two making a black wire ( A) and a white and black wire ( B). The third wire is black ( C) and has a quick connect attached to the end of it. Note: Wire ( C) also has a fuse attached to it.
As for the 12v Power Outlet, ( D) is brass colored and located in the center held in place with black plastic. ( E) is pretty much the entire outside metal casing.

So what connects to what?

Does ( C) connect to ( D), ( A) & ( B) connects to ( E)??? I have no clue how this thing works hahaa.

Many thanks in advance.

You should definitely check the three wires (A, B and C) left by the previous owner with a multimeter to determine polarity before making the connections. Find out which of the three is(are) positive, then pull the fuse to confirm that it is properly connected to your fuse box. If D on your lighter socket is for the tip, then it should be positive, and the casing E should be ground.

According to the manual, the ground wire (-) is black, and the +12v wire is
white with a red stripe. It doesn't look like anything you have there is
original, so you're not going to get a good answer just from your pictures.
You may be able to make it work by selecting the correct wires with a
multimeter as aphex mentioned.

Better break out the multi meter... anyone that gives you an 'answer' is guessing. You need to check with a multi meter for power.

Yep the wires don't look original to me, so do as they say and break out the meter and check.

Pop your center console off and see what wires you find under there.

I'm guessing there is a switch in there somewhere... that or there was a switch and he pulled some of it out. Did you look under the car or dash for the lights?

I turned on the switch on that device. All it did was light up itself, nothing was emanating from the bottom of the car. Haven't had a chance to actually look under the car because I'd have to jack it up. Too low right now. I'm just going to use the wire used for that led master control, to power the power outlet.
