Default 12v under dash for SatNav

Sorry guys if this has been done before I'm just stuck, can't find the key words for what I want in the search.

I have a TomTom SatNav & I want to hard wire it. In the footwell their are loads of free outlets from the loom. Has anyone have a diagram explaining which is which, or just point me in the right direction.

Cheers, in advance, Lee.

Hi Lee:
This is what I am doing, it may not work in your case.
First, a year ago I replaced my HU with an Alpine. As the Alpine needed more current I ran a new power wire from the battery (with fuse) to the new HU. I brought the old power wire from the old HU out to the area in front of the passenger seat and later used it to power my Delphi XM receiver. The old wire is fused for for 15 Amps and will run several other items as well. I plan on putting a relay in series so the power will drop out when the starter is engaged to protect it equipment.

Plug the power wire to OPTION C, and the ground wire....

Look up inside your dash...youll see a gold bolt with a bunch of little black wires coming out from it....ground it there.
