Default 1khz and 50 hz reference tones

Just got a new JL amp and wanted to test the input sensitivity settings (just checking the installers work). Unfortunately I can not find a reasonably priced CD with these two tones at odb attenuation.

Anyone know where I can download these from? Purchase them? ... etc. OR.. Is there anyone with a reference cd who wants to rip these two tracks and let me borrow them???

petraidm,

I can probably hook you up with a these test tones. one thing, are you looking for 0 db attenuation or is there an 'obd' that I am not familiar with?

set up two 60s loops of simple sine wave set at 0 db.
one at 50 Hz
one at 1 kHz

can do others if this is not what you are looking for.

PM with email and I'll send you the WAV files

are you trying to set the gains, here's a page that'll help you. there's a cd there with some tracks to test with, it's a 1000hz tone and a 100hz tone though.

my pop3 server is not too keen on these files. I am trying again to email them, but until then these urls should work.1 kHz 50 Hz

hopefully one of these two will work.
