2001 S2000 have a Clutch safety switch?

2001 S2000 have a Clutch safety switch?

My 2001 S2000 is stock. The starter engages even with the clutch pedal up! I don't think this is normal. Is there a safety switch on the clutch pedal? If not, where is it located?

There should be, maybe the previous owner disabled it for a remote start alarm?
