Dave, Mary's (plankfarm) son took ame around, still sounded good to me, but thats compared to having nothting there all together in my car. Whats SPODS?
SPODS are custom speaker enclosures made by a member here. They provide excellent sound, and are very stealthy. You can also fit a WIDE variety of speakers in them.
These things, with a good set of components, are cheaper than the Honda speakers, and the sound they will produce is uncomparable. The Honda OEMs are basically a $400 oversized tweeter.

SheDrivesIt, I can score a set for just around $350- to me its worth it.
OK, OK, whatever you like. One man's Solstice is another man's S2K.
If you like them and find value there, then that's what you should get. They certainly are an improvement over just the factory head unit with the factory speakers.
Hello,
I just installed the honda headrest speakers in my S2000-04.
In Belgium the kit was delivered with wiring harness, manuals, and everything you need to install it.
The price is rather high but each headrest unit has a left and a right speaker built-in. So you have the stereo effect right behind your ears.
The sound is very good and comes from all around you now.
I'm very pleased with it installed.
