Do you thank the 04-07 harness wires for the tail light is necessary when you fit a 04-07 tail light to 99-03 model ?
Do you thank 04-07 harness wires will make the jobs more easyer ?
Is there all the wires (99-03/04-07) are the some except connectors and plugs ?

Have fun with this guys. I just finished doing mine and man it was a major pain. The cutting was horrible. I used and angle grinder and a dremel. The wiring wasn't so bad. I broke 3 metal contacts because it was a tight fit into the new connectors. Thankfully the connectors you dont use have a pair. I ended up splicing 3 lines to get them to work. I enjoy the look of the new lights though. Very nice.

Did you mean you will conversion with 04-07 wires ?

Let me know the ending of your conversion please~that will very helpful to me~

My idea was find some cutted 04-07 harness wires with plugs and plugged onto the socket of the NEW tail light...then cut the 00 wires and connect to the cutted 04-07 wires ......

Personally, I wouldn't want to cut up any wires but that's really up to you. Cutting is easier but I went the connector way, that too is easy for me. Took some time trying to get the pins out of the old connector as I had to cut open the connector to get at them at the end, it's up to you on how you wanna do it but just do it right and cover all cutted wires.

Oh and btw, I bought mines (connectors, new gaskets, and pictured instructions) from Hardtopguy .

Hardtop guy FTMFW!

As for the clips and harnesses etc, ya, we were going to use the brand new pin clips from honda (I bought a bag of them) but when I got the taillights, the guy I bought them from had just cut the harness and sent that too...

So we are probably just going to be cutting wires and re-wiring the whole set up. I'm still working on getting the air saw. I have a friend with a Sawzall so we may be doing it next week.

I'll keep you posted, and if you get the taillights, buy them from Hard top guy!

If you find them in a salvage yard, i've got the connectors if you need em.
