Yeah, I'd say use some clear RTV compound which you can buy from any hardware store. Also, getting brand new templates for the lights is a good idea too, not like the used pieces I have which are out of shape.

Just did my conversion today, I'm really happy with it. I still have to back and add a little silicon to prevent any fogging up though.

all the lights work properly except when I turn my parking lights on they dont light up which enables me not to drive at night!!!! there where four sockets on the ap1 head lights and there is only 3 for the ap2 what are you suppose to do with the that last plug that originaly plugged into the outside point of the tailight!!!

I just left mine unplugged and dangling (wrapped with electrical tape) and all my lighting works properly

AP2 Taillight + AP1 rear, AP2 Headlight + AP1 front/lip = Best "stock" form.

I have the AP2 taillights, gaskets and all sockets..... As for the wiring, based on this topic, i could cut/modify the AP1 connectors to fit the AP2 sockets..... but is there a cleaner way to do it?

What would be required? Would it be 4qty of #3 in the picture below and just rewire that connectors to the AP1 wires?
