Good info. Still I wonder if it still has the active crossover, that's also not listed. The price of the 9856 is pretty cheap at $230.

looks nice. saw the 9856 listed in my crutchfield for $199. might be a worthwile replacement for my old 7893. I particularly want the "Bluetooth Ready" explained. If that means bluetooth cellphone or pda integration, oh hell yah.

Alpine MSRP for the 9857 is $400.00 so I would imagine retail would be $349.00 to $379.00 through Crutchfield?
