Default 2006+ ambiant temp sensor install on a 2005

Hey guys, got a question. Does anyone have a pinout for the 2006+ s2000 gauge cluster? The whole pinout would be great. However, to be more specific, I am looking for the ambient temp sensor wires location that go into the cluster. I am doing a swap and install and I can not for the life of me find any info on the ambient temp sensor wiring. Thanks!!!!

The 2006+ dash is can bus based. The 2000-2005 ecu does not support can bus. You're in for a lot of work imo

Wow. Didn't know that. Well I bought an edm ap2 cluster only for the 9k rpm limit. The temp sensor was an added bonus. I wasn't aware of the can system. Well dang......

Ok so I went back on my eBay email. Says it's for an 04-06 s2k. I guess I was misleading on the title. Oops. Does it make more sense to re request the diagram for cluster? Lol

I've checked the '00-'05 Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (US/Canada), and there's no mention of an ambient temp
sensor in either the wiring diagram or the connector pinouts. Can't speak for EDM though.

interesting...I defiantly have a display there for temp. I can see it with the unit powered off. I guess EDM is different when it comes to this. Not home to take a picture.

Sounds like they sold you a 06-07 cluster. There's no such thing as 04-06

These are the different types
00-03
04-05
06-07 can bus
08-09 can bus

Alright so that sucks...but I get it now. Now I just have to see if I can disassemble and swap the front plates and hope the lighting works and lines up for the rpm band. Just trying to get that 9k life

I was not aware the 2006+ S2000 gauge cluster was CAN-buss based. Makes sense since the cars are DBW and can be tuned via FlashPro.

I bought a 2017 Ford Expedition this last month to tow my boat and camper and the truck lacks DRLs. Really? No DRLs on a 2017 vehicle? Yep. I "installed" DRLs last night by editing the tables in the truck's computer. Really easy with the available Forscan software and a good user group. I've seen no mention of this capability for the S2000, though, but it might be possible with (a lot of) knowledge.
