2007 stock HU

Hey everyone sorry if this is a stupid question but I have read mixed things about it.

Is the stock AP2 2007 model stock HU a mp3 disc player? or rather does it play mp3's that are burned on a cd?

To my knowledge, it is not. However, I've also not tried putting in an mp3 disc.

it is not an MP3 player and it only reads CD-R's

Ahh ok thanks a bunch. Someone told me it was mp3 but I guess not.

Confirmed. I have an 07 and the OEM headunit is NOT an mp3 player as well unfortunately. It does, however play CDRs if you burn a music CD.
