disc changer adapter

disc changer adapter
like many other stock changer stuck. replaced it with new Alpine. Have a stock HU. When hit CD it states 'CD1 T-99' and does nothing. I'm assuming I have the wrong adapter. Can anyone tell me which adapter to get?
