Default 6.0 or 6.5 inch speakers

Im confused.
6.0 or 6.5 inch speakers in a AP1?
Ive read 6,5, but on ebay I find brackets to use 6,5" speakers.
And on JLaudio.com it automaticly recommend 6.0 inch.

I just recently installed a set of Alpine Type S 6.5 components in my AP1.
I had to cut the basket behind the OEM speaker to make it fit, but the speaker diameter was fine.

Some manufacturers undersize there speakers and come with a 6.5" adapter ring to mount with.

There are others that'll come 6.5" but oversized adapter plates also.

go with 6.5". you can install it easily with some MDF spacers.

going with 6.5" over 6.0" the sound would be much better and more volume
