8" Bazooka?
I currently have a Alpine CDA 9883 deck and a Alpine PDX 4.100 (rated at 130 watts/channel RMS). I will be installing a set of Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 components and they will be connected to the front two channels of the amp and i will bridge the two rear channels to a sub.
As far as the sub goes, i was considering a Bazooka 8" DVC non-powered (BT8024DVC) due to its light weight, compact size, and price point. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-H5j2KMp7cuN/c...510&I=204BT8DVC
Does anyone have experience with this sub. How is the sound quality and does the bass hit decently hard? I dont listen to music with excessive amounts of bass, i am just trying to get a clear and good sounding system.
Thanks.

It has been a long time since I had these....I seem to remember liking them. Had 'em in my 944....then again I also has a Band Pass box with 2 10's, a 18 inch Celestion in a ported box, all stolen........
i had one in my old civic, sounds good for what it is. its nice also because its one easy connect to take it out. ill see how it sounds in the S later today as im finishing the wiring today on it.great fitment in our trunks too.
alright i swapped it out at work and now it works fine. it sounds pretty damn good, plenty for this car. there is one frequency that makes something rattle like crazy tho,so ive gotta look into that. ill post up pics if i can later today of the install
