I've never installed a DCI but I know I could do a deck, components, and a two-channel amp, in damn near any Honda in two

Now, if he's making some fancy amp rack, deadening your doors, making tweeter pods, or some other fabrication, as well as adding some time for troubleshooting, RTA tuning, and making everything look extra-pretty then eight hours isn't that unreasonable.

[Edit] I'm not claiming to be anything special in terms of installation, just pointing out that it's a pretty basic install...

Ill do it for half that. Let me know when you are available.

I do very careful work. It might take me 8 hours (if your car decides to be a bitch) but I wont charge more just because I had a hard time. Most shops have "billable hours" where they bill you for everything they do. If a panel takes too long to take off, theyll charge you for the time it takes to do it. I never charge by hour, i charge by the job.

Im in NYC, not far from jersey ( about 1hour 15 minutes from atlantic city...im not sure where you live)

I heatshrink and solder ALL connections, and know the s2000 pretty inside out.

Just ask DiamondDave.

As for materials....

YOull need...

Heatshrink.
Amp wiring kit from KNUKONCEPTZ
(assuming the amp is for your components, its the 8gauge kit)
Amp rack from PAS2KNUT (Jim)
(spare tire cover is optional)
(Upgraded speaker wire...optional but recommended)
(Upgraded RCAs...optional but recommended)
Get everything from KNUKONCEPTZ

AC is 123 miles from me. Ive made it there in about 1 hour 10 minutes once. I was doing about 115 the entire way. It was my birthday (christmas day)....not one car on the road, and not one cop!

Just a question out of curiosity: from the point of view of an experienced installer, is Jim's amp rack the only way to go? I ask because the option of WLAURENT's enclosure really means it isn't necessary to give up the tool well area, and if the amp could be mounted elsewhere then the space tire could remain. Are any of the mounting alternatives worth pursuing if you are using WLAURENT's box?

Yeah, I'll second that!

Dave does great work, and knows the best places to run wiring, etc. He'll do a much better job than any stereo shop seeing this car for the first time, that's for sure.

I'm in Cherry Hill, NJ (1 hour from AC), and if you want to check out my system, you're more than welcome.

Dave. (the other Dave).
