Now that's an interesting design. I though about doing something similar but was always trying to use a 10" driver and couldnt' get it to fit. I never considered using a 6. Can you fit one on the driver's side too?

I asked them if they could install a 2nd driver on the driver side.. but said it was impossible due to the clutch and fuse box being on that side... but honestly.. coming from a 15k system in my prelude.. w/ just 1-10" JL, I'm very content w/ this sub and the way it's performed. I must say though, I think it does well due to the fact that the PPI 4100 is pushing it...

This looks interesting. Can you tell us more? What is the volume (size) of the box? How is it mounted? I have two 6W0's sitting garage garage right now.

... has anyone other than modifry explored the possibilities of mounting something in the drivers footwell? I know its a small space and you've got the pedals there... but i think it might be possible to squeeze an 8 in there...

8" is impossible.. we tried an 8" on the passenger side and it was just too big. The box is molded and mounted near the A/C condenesor. It appears just to be a square box.. but it took them a few days to design and make sure the correct air space was there for the 6"...

I have the DynAudio 3-way set up which includes a 7 inch sub, 3 inch midrange, and 1 inch tweeter. The 7 inch sub actually measures closer to a 6.5, but then again, most 6.5's are smaller, too. The midranges and tweeters are in custom kicks, and the subs are in the doors. No cutting. You just have to make a spacer to push them out a bit so they don't hit the window. The system sounds ubelievable. They don't go very low, but the accuracy is rediculous. And they sound better as they break in. Sorry, no pics, yet.

s2kmugen, can you either post or PM me with the info of the people who made the box? Would they make another one and ship? How much did it cost you? Did they say what the volume of the box is (in cubic ft)? Thanks.

Since I've already got a 6WO in a ported box in my trunk, I'm going to use it to make another box similar to s2kmugen's. I've never done any fiberglass work, so I thought it'd be a fun project to try out over the next few days. If it works ok, I'll do a little write-up on how to do it and things that I would change in my process (as I'm sure there'll be plenty of post-creation ideas!)
