Default 9857 Question

I have a 9853 right now and am thinking of upgrading to the 9857 mainly for the better Ipod controls. I was also wondering if the display is any easier to read in the daytime? With my 9853 it is very hard to read top up or down during the day, at night it's fine though. Just curious, because I think I would upgrade for the readability alone.

I have the 9857 in my S2000. It's clear as day, top up and down. The only thing I hate about the 9857 is the layout of buttons and how the menus is setup.

Since the face doesn't tilt it gets washed out in direct sunlight.

True, but it's only happened to me a few times.

I normally just leave the radio door closed anyways and use the dash controls.
