The second harness is definately for cd changer and XM install. It runs (entirely, I believe) to the trunk in the space behind the drivers side - pull the trunk lining out and you'll find the matching harness disconnected back there. The DCI doesn't use those wires at all. I piggy backed some power to my sattelite reciever on those wires for a quick & dirty install.
