Sorry to hear the sales are that low. It seems to be a theme of this site at least to be very enthusiastic about products before they are released, but for that enthusiasm to wane once they are available.

On the AEM forum there are innumerable posts asking how to get the temp gauge working and absolute disbelief when AEM repsond that you can't. But the response to my thread about this product has been lacklustre.

Okay,

Got an EMS

Operationally, can I expect 3 bars when I drive the car?

Will the suggested EMS setting move back and forth between 3 - 4/5 bars?

My temp gauage has been out for a while... I've been waiting until the oil presure reaches to a point that under load it doesn't go too high.. ( 90-100lbs)

Its suggested that its "VTEC safe at 160F"...

PS. EXCELLENT MOD!!!
Vtec safe at 160F?? isn't 3 bars in the instrument panel read somewhere around 90F?

If you do this for the 04, I'd definitely be interested. Thanks for your efforts, Modifry!

Modifry, I'm sorry the sales haven't been what you expected. I do appreciate the work involved, and hope you reach you sales goal to consider it worth your time.

Thanks again for the hard work.

[quote name='modifry' date='Feb 18 2005, 03:29 PM'] I think I may have shipped one "stock" unit to a customer with an AEM.

I finally got the last of the orders shipped out last weekend. If anybody did NOT get theirs . . . too bad. I expected to sell maybe 20 of these but so far only 13 orders have been placed. Not too good for the amount of time invested, but it was a learning experience as it was my first A-D project. Hopefully the knowledge gained from this will pay off in my next project.

Modifry, if sales don't hit your initial targets, I'm willing to ante up another $25 to help ease the disappointment. I'd hope that others would do the same, as otherwise people will be afraid to take the risk of investing time/money/effort in developing these sorts of products. For me, the product is worth more than you're charging anyway, assuming I eventually finish the garage rennovation and actually get around to installing it...
