Just reading through the instructions. I didn't see emntion anywhere of the correlation between milivolts and temperature. Is there a chart or similar in C and F?
Yea, I need to post an official conversion chart. I've been wanting to do one more in-car test first though. For now you can get close by looking at the graphs I've posted earlier.

And it's installed!

Had a few problems. There is no C6 +5V on the Aus loom nor on the Vtecfrog extension. Had to tap into C19 which is Sensor Voltage 1 +5V. I assume that is a +5V source for some sensor and could throw something off. Let me know what you think Modifry.

That said, it's working. I left the car to run at idle and after a few minutes it had two bars showing.

3 bars!!

I took it for a short drive and saw 3 bars for the first time in months (not including Saturday nights).

I'm a bit worried about the 5V connection but I'm sure Modifry will have some feedback.

That said, it's about 5 months since I started this thread and I feel it has been a great success. I trust that everyone who has expressed interest in this product will place their order promptly so that Modifry can share my jubilation.

Aus, these photos are great. Thank you for taking the time to make it easier for the rest of us!

Mod, my unit arrived this weekend, but I won't get around to installing it for another month, I think. Thank you again.

Just got around to hooking mine up today. Here are some pictures of how I did it.

As you can see, the module is stuck to the side of the EMS with picture mounting foam tape.

I used the black wire from the seatbelt warning connector for grounding the brown and black wires from the module. If you have the EMS under the seat, this installation will save some time for you.

Had the car on the track yesterday. I haven't been game since I installed the AEM as I won't drive hard without a temperature gauge.

Drove 250Kms to the track by back country roads, did a few sessions on the track, then drove back. The gauge generally showed 2 bars but occasionally showed 3 when I slowed down or stopped after driving hard. Exactly what you would expect from a fully functional cooling system and an informative gauge.

Glad to see some successful installations.

AUS - I have no doubt you're fine with the +5 connection you have. The wire I direct you to in the instructions is also +5v for sensor power. The module draws very little current (<10ma) and "sensor power" is a well-regulated voltage source (will maintain the same voltage with large changes in current).

FPERRA - Might want to re-think the ground wire. The ground for the brown wire is not important, you can connect it almost anywhere. But the Black ground wire is critical. It's the ground reference for the module, meaning when it measures the ECT voltage it uses the Black wire as a "zero" voltage reference. If it's different than the ECM's sensor ground then there will be some error in the measurements. Might not be a big error but for best accuracy I would recommend using the same ground as the ECM. Or see if you can find one of the "sensor ground" wires on the ECM.

I didn't post last week (or send emails, sorry) but I did ship another batch Jan 31. That only leaves 3 more to ship but I don't know if I'll get them out today or not. My PC bit the dust last week and I'm a little behind. If they don't go today they will go out Thursday.

BTW, for those of us from countries where water boils at 100 degrees and freezes at 0:
