Yes, subwoofers will do that. You could dynamat it, etc..

or just listen to the bass inside the car.

When you begin to move the amount of air that a sub does you are bound to get vibration.

1. Dynamat the trunk(John has a group buy going)
2. The biggest rattle comes from the package tray, dynamat that
3. Turn the bass gain down just a little, less sub movement the cleaner the sound
4. Adjust the bumpers on the deck lid, that will reduce the movement
5. There is a hole in the trunk to allow air to escape when you close the lid, plug that as well.

3. I agree, but maybe you like it really boomy.
4. True.
5. This is a hugh one!

I'll add:

6. The license plate.
7. The entire trunk should be Dynamated.

Its up to the left and behind the license plate. just reach up there you can feel it. Its about 3"x4" in size. You can also see it if you remove the trunk liner panel around the latch hook. You can peel it back from the top and look down and see it on the left hand side.

Hi John, will this allow water in with you are driving, if you take the cap off.

Nope no water will get in. Its there just to vent the pressure inside the cabin when you close the door. You don't want to remove it, just fill it in. Stuff some polyfill in the vent on both sides and then seal it will Dynamat on both sides... of at least the outside(to hold the polyfill in)
