Default aftermarket security recommendations

I am going to install an aftermarket security system when I get my car back from the shop as it was recently vandalized with the total damages coming to a little over $10,000.00.

I am going to get one of the following systems:

Compustar 2ssw or 2wfm
Viper Responder 790x
Python Responder 880xp
Clifford Matrix rs3

Any good or bad points anybody would like to share about any of these systems? Are all 3 of the DEI systems the same? They seem to be. I know I definitely want a 2 way pager system. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Craig S

THe DEI are the same.

The Compustar 2ssw has MUCH more range for the pager feature. I think the DEI is probably more user-friendly, but I wanted the range for my car.

If the vandalism included the theft of your seats, then check out getting seat locks from Kodokan_4. Links to my info on the alarm, and to the seat locks are in my sig.

All the DEI systems you listed also include remote start. It that's not something you will have hooked up, I hear DEI is going to be coming out with a 2-way alarm only system.

The DEI responder products are the same, just different names. They're a bit more user friendly as stated and work pretty well however the drawbacks it that you are limited in auxiliary inputs. The new clifford rs 3.5 supposedly is an updgraded version allowing more options to be added on. I really don't think these pagers offer quite the amount of security as I would like. My ultimate alarm recommendation would be someting like Clifford IG 750 with wireless immobilizer, back up self powered smart siren, digital tilt motion sensor, the standard glass tempering sensor, the standard shock sensors and a pager all in one. Supposedly you can get the IG series with an added pager but it's not as "cool" looking as the responders and its fairly large and bulky.
