Default Alarm?

So I bought the stock alarm and mounting kit for the great price of $312 and now I just don't know if I want to bother putting it in.

I've always been against alarms, I mean no one cares when one goes off, and with a soft top, the ass clown thief is just going to cut the top.

The immobilizer will keep only the pros from jacking the whole car and half the time I won't even be within audible distance of the car.

So, yeah. I'm probably just going to return the thing, unless I hear a good argument otherwise.

^^ That is the one I bought, and for the same reasons. This way I know when the alarm goes off. BTW installed price was $280.

I also have a pager alarm. I have the CompuStar. It was more expensive, but it also has a longer range. (If you get the spread spectum model.)

There is a link in my sig for more details.
