I have been trying to install the hornet 727t piggyback alarm for quite some time. No matter what I do or try (button sequences, check and recheck wiring), once I plug in the main harness, the alarm remains in the armed state and cannot be
disarmed. When I press the unlock/lock button on my transmitter, the doors unlock and lock, but the alarm does not arm or disarm. I cannot disarm or arm the alarm with the transmitters, period. I have tried isolating the arm and disarm trigger wires on the aux harness by sending a state change to the wires individually, but don't get any response for either trigger. WLaurent's instructions, Honda wiring schematic, and 727t installation guide were used for the install and troubleshooting. A local shop tech also has verified the wiring. Any help or advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

 

Anyone have a clue to how to diagnose this problem?

 

I would like to know too.. I will be installing my alarm soon...
