Default Alarm Suggestions?

Ok so I am getting my S soon and want to put a good alarm in it. I know I want the pager function but outside of that I could use some suggestions on what works well. I am looking in the $200 range ish if thats possible.

Any DEI product is worth the money. They are very familiar brands (Python, Viper, Clifford, and more) made by one parent company and I have always been satisfied with their products. Just make sure you get the installation done at a good reliable shop. Unless you are good with small spaces, 12v electronics, and vehicle wiring I wouldn't attempt the install yourself.

I am looking for a good shop in Phoenix as the one that did my civic closed. I also have a buddy thats been doing installs for years but not sure of his availibility. I can't spend $500 on an alarm but I feel like I got a DEI one for my civic for about $300 or maybe even less. I will look into those.

Python 460 max is going to cost you around 100-150 and most shops will charge about 75-100 in parts and labor so you can stay in your budget easily. Viper also has a comparable model so it just depends on which brand your local shop will carry.

If you go that route, keep in mind that most shops will still charge you to put it in. It's not easy to install an alarm, so you kinda have to take it to a shop unless you know your stuff and can do electronics.

This is incorrect. A 2-way paging system is going to give you the maxim rage regardless to if it has remote start or not.
