the sony lcd projection is a great tv. as far as the bulbs they are easily replaced when needed. take off service panel and unscrew like a light bulb and put new light bulb in. it will take you 5 minutes and you cannot go wrong. i am upgrading my hdtv panasonic to a lcd projection soon. just need to be a little shallower and that is where it is at. with any of the big names you cannot go wrong. my choices for lcd would be 1. sony or hitachi 2. samsung dlp 3. panasonic lcd. take a pic you cannot go wrong

I have a 42" Sony Grand Wega. I love it. It has HDMI input in the back that I hooked my DVD player up to. The picture quality is GREAT! I would defantely buy one again. I have had no problems what-so-ever and I have had mine over a year. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
