I can't seem to get the DCI to work with my new Deck. Bob (Modifry) has been great at helping me out, but I still can't get it to work. Has anyone had a defective alpine deck? I am starting to suspect the deck, but I don't have anyway to test it. Everything else on the deck works except for the wired remote (DCI) feature.

mine works like a charm

 

Check your miniplug connection on the DCI wiring harness. It may have come loose... should be a ground and a white wire. The white wire was loose, so I pulled the crimp connector on the harness and soldered the wire to the connector.
