I am having a problem with my Modifry wired DCI. I hooked everything up and set the dip switches just like the instructions say but the only thing that works is the MUTE function. I am using a Kenwood X791 headunit. I have checked the power to the DCI with a multimeter and it is good. I also checked all the connections and everything appears to be correct. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I was told by Bob that changes of DIP switches requires the restart of the ignition for it to get recognized. Don't know if you've done that part for troubleshooting. Sorry, I do not have a Kenwood headunit, but did have to go through some troublshooting with the wired DCI with my Pioneer head unit.

 

Problem solved. I received a new DCI with an old harness so I just had to move the white wire from beside the gray wire to beside the black wire. Thanks alot.
