1. After turning the car off, the Ipod is still on. Is this normal? Does it shut off by itself?

2. I had to do the reset thing noted in another thread (holding Menu and the middle round button on the Ipod). Prior to doing this, the Ipod looked like it was playing but had no sound. Is this normal?

2. No, but the iPod will lock up every one in a great while, has happened to me 4 or 5 times but only once when in the S2000.

 

Wow i havent even noticed it.
Then again i dont really look in there after i shut my car off.
Even if it did stay on it would eventually die and once you turn the car on it will begin to charde again.
But i hear you i wouldnt want it on after i leave too.
