Default Alpine 9850ri and Ipod problem

Got in my car today and ipod working fine with my stereo. I pop in the shops, get back in my car and nothing. All I get is a tick on my ipod screen and it says "Ok to disconnect". The Alpine sign should appear on the Ipod screen when it's all linked up.

I initially thought it was the stereo playing up, but I plugged in my sisters ipod and it works straight away.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Try a reset on the iPod and that should sort it:

Switch the "hold" switch on and off then press and hold the "menu" and center buttons down at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the display and that's the reset done.

No problem. Mine did it a couple of weeks ago.
