Default alpine 9887 installation help

My 9887 just arrived today.
Couldn't help it so i installed right away. Bought wired DCI & PnP harness from modifry. works like charm. Big thanks to modifry

Now onto the mounting the headunit back. I didn't buy trims(brackets) for it. Do i really need it ? or i can just use the stock brackets that was on the stock headunit and use one screw instead of two ?

Thanks in advance

Ryan

You don't need to buy a bracket.

Just use the stock brackets, it should line up with the secound set of holes on the HU (i think) for best fitment.
