Default Alpine CD Changer

Which one of the Alpine CD Changers works with the 2003 headunit? I would like all functions to work from the headunit such as changing disc, etc.

thanx

any of the MBUS changers will work, you just need a Honda->MBUS Adaptor

There's a few people on the board that have successfully used the AINET Changers (like the MP3 S634 one) by using the above adaptor and the Alpine KCA130B MBUS->AINET Adaptor.

With either you keep the dash controls, since the stock HU is controlling the changer. just keep in mind trying to control an MP3 changer on the stock HU can be a pain since you have so many tracks.

If you decide to go with an Alpine changer send me a PM, I have an extra Honda->MBUS adaptor that works in the S2000. I'll give you a good deal on it!

Thanx Mgiang7. Now I can start shopping. Hey, if your avatar is one of your vehicles here's a tip. If you ever accidently get wax on the black wheel well flares, peanut oil (yes the cooking type) removes it nicely.

thanx for the tip but i use zaino or P21S, both of which do not stain black plastic trim. so i'm ahead of you there good luck shopping, the cheapest I ever saw the alpine S630 changer was about 180.

if you're patient they show up here for 100-150 used from members. i just picked up one from a member for 110, another just went for around that much. so keep an eye on the forums. if you end up with a new one, keep me in mind for the adaptor!
